Please note that the A272 from the A23 junction to Buncton Lane/Stairbridge Lane will be closed from Monday 25th July for up to five days (work is due to complete on Friday 29th July). The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while work is undertaken for the removal of trees due to ash die back. Works are being carried out by SPW Tree Surgeons on behalf of Farney Close School.
The restriction will be in place day-time only from 08:00 until 18:00 and an alternative route will be signed on site.
Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure.
