Bolney Parish Council would like to extend thanks to the Rampion Fund at Sussex Community Foundation for a grant of £7,230 to purchase a new Grit Spreader, Lawnmower and hi-visibility clothing for the Bolney Volunteers to use.

Rampion and Sussex Community Foundation have distributed £1,502,458.53 in grants from the community fund set up by the offshore windfarm since it began in 2018. Grants have been awarded to 114 groups from across East Sussex, West Sussex and Brighton & Hove.
Jennifer Donn, JV Governance and Stakeholder Manager for the Rampion Offshore Windfarm, said “The Rampion Fund continues to support an exciting array of projects from a diverse range of community groups. We are delighted to have awarded a further 18 grants to groups in the recent spring round. The fund has a specific environmental appeal, drawing innovative project bids including for sustainable food production and gardening and recycling schemes. We would like to continue encouraging groups to apply to the fund.”
The Rampion Fund is designed to support local organisations, funding projects with a particular focus on the environment, ecology, climate change and energy. It also funds projects aiming to improve community facilities, including projects designed for renewable energy generation and energy conservation.
Kevin Richmond, CEO at Sussex Community Foundation, said “After another successful round of Rampion awards, we are delighted to support some great community projects. Working with Rampion has enabled us to implement our commitment to addressing climate change through our grant making and becoming more sustainable as an organisation.
The Rampion Fund will open for the next round of applications in spring 2021. For more information, visit www.sussexgiving.org.uk/rampion or call 01273 409 440.
