It was agreed by all that the Minutes of the meeting held on 16th June 2009 be signed by the Chairman as a true and correct record.

3      DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST FROM MEMBERS

4      TO NOTE THE FOLLOWING DECISIONS OF MSDC

a      09/01073/FUL – Location: Bee House Cottage, Earwig Lane, Bolney

Desc: 3 no. two storey side extensions (to north, east and south elevations of existing dwelling).  Construction of a decking area and a two bay car port.   PC Decision: NO OBJECTION. MSDC REFUSED.

b      09/01336/FUL – Location: Highview, Cowfold Road, Bolney

Desc: Retrospective planning application for the retention of an open fronted implement store to the southern boundary of Highview. PC Decision: NO OBJECTION. APPROVED BY MSDC. 

c      09/00858/COU – Location: Bolney Post Office, The Street, Bolney

Desc: Change of use from Post Office (A1) on part of ground floor to residential (C3). PC Decision: NO OBJECTION. APPROVED BY MSDC.

d      09/01029/FUL – Location: Rawson Institute, Rawson Hall, The Street, Bolney

Desc: Proposed new access to Lodge Lane and creation of childrens play area. PC Decision: NO OBJECTION. APPROVED BY MSDC.

e      09/01461/FUL – Location: Pit Stop Cafι, Bolney Grange Industrial Park, Bolney

Desc: Replacement of cafι/snack bar (mobile home type) with one of permanent construction (A3 use) PC Decision: NO OBJECTION.  APPROVED BY MSDC.

f       09/01179/LDC - Location: Aurora Ranch Caravan Park, London Road, Bolney

Desc: The construction of a manager’s house pursuant to planning permission BK/058/93 and approved plans thereunder.  This is an application to establish whether the proposed development is lawful:  this will be a legal decision where the planning merits of the proposed development cannot be taken into account. PC Decision: NO COMMENT. MSDC REFUSED.

5      TO CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING APPLICATIONS:

a      09/02012/ADV – Location: Jeremys Service Station, London Road, Bolney

Desc: 1 no internally illuminated free standing double sided display unit. PC Decision: OBJECTION AS ADVERTISEMENTS ARE NOT IN RELATION TO THE SERVICE STATION AND IT IS IN AN AONB.
