Comments from Members of the Public regarding planning agenda below

·       Mr Willis advised that he has submitted new plans for the Former Car Park to Queens Head Pub.

·       Mr Gilbert spoke against item 5b, 10/00310/FUL explaining his objection to the siting of the development and adverse effect on the views from the footpath.

·       Mr Spain, the owner of Bullswood, spoke in favour of item 5b 10/00310/FUL, explaining the improvements to be made and the use of renewable energy.

It was agreed by all that the Minutes of the meeting held on 16h February 2010 be signed by the Chairman as a true and correct record.

 

3       DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST FROM MEMBERS

AS expressed a personal interest in item 5C.

            

4     TO NOTE THE FOLLOWING DECISIONS OF MSDC

a     10/00082/FUL – Location: Swallows, 1 Purveys Hill, Cowfold Road, Bolney

Desc: Retrospective approval for conservatory to rear. PC Decision: NO OBJECTION. APPROVED BY MSDC.

 

5     TO CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING APPLICATIONS:

a     10/00139/COU – Location: Hunters View, Cross Colwood Lane, Bolney

       Desc:  Change of use of existing Squash Court to holiday accommodation. PC Decision: NO OBJECTION.

 

b     10/00310/FUL – Location: Bullswood, Longhouse Lane, Warninglid

Desc:  Demolish existing conservatory and double garage.  Reclad house in vertical cedar boards and fit replacement windows and external doors.  New annex to house additional accommodation and sustainable energy systems.

PC Decision: NO OBJECTION.

 

AS took no part in the discussion or vote on the following application.

 

c     10/00370/FUL – Location: Berncroft, Top Street Bolney

Desc:  Three bay cart lodge style garage with hobbies/workshop and loftspace for playroom/storage. PC Decision: NO OBJECTION.

 

d     10/00321/FUL – Location: Broxtead House, Broxmead Lane, Bolney

Desc:  Demolition of existing detached double garage and erection of new detached garage and car port building.

PC Decision: NO OBJECTION.

 

e     10/00415/COND – Location: Ricebridge Works, Brighton Road, Bolney

Desc:  The conditions 7 and 8 relating to Planning Permission 04/02928/FUL including the use of plant and machinery (fork-lift equipment) between the hours of 0800 on weekdays and 0800 on Saturdays and finishing at 1800 hours on weekdays and 1300 on Saturdays needs to be changed to 0700 and finishing at 1700 on weekdays and Saturday to stay unchanged.  PC Decision: NO OBJECTION.

 

f      10/00480/FUL – Location: Horsmanshoad, Pickwell Lane, Ansty, Haywards Heath

       Desc:  First floor side extension and rear conservatory. PC Decision: NO OBJECTION.

 

g     10/00562/TREE – Location: Land Adjacent to Durstons, Lodge Lane, Bolney

Desc: Fell two Cypresses (T1 and T2). PC Decision: NO OBJECTION – Would recommend new planting takes place as directed by the parks superintendent by arrangement with the owner.
