·         Mr Willis and his representative from Parker Dann, Mr Wojtulewski, gave some background information and spoke in favour of application 09/03600/FUL

·         Mr Martin provided some further information and spoke in favour of application 09/03585/FUL.

2         CONFIRM THE MINUTES OF THE LAST MEETING

It was agreed by all that the Minutes of the meeting held on 17th November 2009 be signed by the Chairman as a true and correct record.

 

3         DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST FROM MEMBERS

4      TO NOTE THE FOLLOWING DECISIONS OF MSDC

a      09/02902/FUL – Location: Little Eden, Broxmead Lane, Cuckfield

Desc: Single storey front and single storey rear extensions including a roof terrace. (Amended description 28.09.09) PC Decision: NO OBJECTION. APPROVED BY MSDC

 

5      TO CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING APPLICATIONS:

a      09/03112/LDC – Location: Aurora Ranch Caravan Park, London Road, Bolney

Desc: The construction of a manager’s house pursuant to planning permission B/058/93 and approved plans thereunder.  This is an application to establish whether the proposed development is lawful: this will be a legal decision where the planning merits of the proposed development cannot be taken into account. PC Decision: Noted, will await the outcome of decision.

 

b      09/03336/FUL – Location: Redwoods, Crossways, Bolney

Desc: Proposed annex and loft conversion. PC Decision: NO OBJECTION.

 

c      09/03570/COU – Location: Plastech Ltd, Unit 4, Ricebridge Works, Brighton Road, Bolney

Desc: Change of Use from B1 to recording studio (B1) with rehearsal space and music therapy rooms. PC Decision: NO OBJECTION, subject to MSDC ensuring strict guidelines are in place re useage.

 

d      09/03585/FUL – Location: Old Highlands West, London Road, Bolney

Desc: Proposed ancillary annexe accommodation for dependent elderly relatives PC Decision: NO OBJECTION.

 

e      09/03075/FUL – Location: 9 Tythe Barn, Bolney

Desc: One storey flat roof kitchen and living extension.  Two storey pitched roof extension with room re-arrangement and loft conversion with bedroom and ensuite PC Decision: NO OBJECTION.

 

f       09/03600/FUL – Location: Former Car Park to Queens Head Pub, London Road, Bolney

Desc: Erection of 3 houses together with parking and associated landscaping PC Decision: Assuming MSDC were minded to consider allowing this limited development of a brownfield site outside but immediately adjacent to the village built up area boundary and subject to the resolution of necessary connections to the existing services infrastructure, Bolney Parish Council would have no objection in principle to these proposals.
