1        APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE

Apologies for absence were received from Mrs J Allardice, Mrs D Drake and Mr A Morris.

 

2        MINUTES

It was agreed by all that the Minutes of the meeting held on 20 March 2007 be signed as a true and correct record.

 

3        MATTERS ARISING FROM THE MINUTES

There were no matters arising from the Minutes of the meeting held on 20 March 2007.

 

4        DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST FROM MEMBERS

Mr Hazel declared an interest in Item 6(d) and Mr Seward declared an interest in Item 6(b).

 6     TO CONSIDER NEW APPLICATIONS

a)      BK/07/00475/FUL:  Berncroft, Top Street, Bolney: Single storey side extension with bedroom and en suite in roof over, to existing chalet bungalow.  To include a dormer window.  NO OBJECTION.

Mr Seward left the meeting.

b)  BK/07/00540/FUL:  The Beershop, Stairbridge Lane, Bolney:  Erection of new single storey rear conservatory.  NO OBJECTION subject to an overview given by the County Architect and sympathetic materials being used.

Mr Seward returned to the meeting. 

c)   BK/07/00264/FUL:  The Old Laundry, Colwood Lane, Bolney:  Amendment to original approval.  Enlarged en-suite to bedroom 5 first floor west elevation transposing family room west elevation doors and windows small basement boiler room under dining room.  OBJECT on the grounds of concerns regarding the design.

Mr Hazel left the meeting.

d)  BK/07/00564/FUL:  Daizes Cottage, Jeremys Lane, Bolney:  Demolition of old double garage and adjoining outbuildings and replacement with new.  OBJECT on the grounds that it is unneighbourly and an overdevelopment in an AONB.

Mr Hazel returned to the meeting.

 

7    ANY OTHER BUSINESS

Parker Dann:  Mid Sussex District Council Local Development Framework Small Scale Housing Allocations Submission Document (Car Park to the former Queens Head Public House, London Road.  Noted.

RH&RW Clutton:  Mid Sussex District Council Local Development Framework Small Scale Housing Allocations Submission Document (Land at Pine Lodge and Pine Cottage, London Road.  Noted.

WSCC:  Bolney Footpath No.14: Notification of Diversion Order.  Noted.

Holleran Mouchel Parkman JV Ltd:  Notification of a scheme to eliminate reported flooding at properties along Chapel Road, The Street and Crossways.  The trial hole investigation is to take place on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd April 2007.  Noted.

Mr Williams had reviewed the A272 Speed Management Schemes 2006/7 documents and said that the suggestions made on behalf of the Parish Council had been included.

Mrs Wright agreed to contact MSDC regarding the activities at Aurora Ranch Caravan Park.

 

There being no other business, the meeting closed at 8.30 p.m.
