Embroiderers
Description:
The
Group was formed in November 1998 by seven enthusiastic amateur
needlewomen. The first project was to make six embroideries
depicting life in Bolney Village in the Millennium year. These
hang in the Rawson Institute together with one contributed by
Bolney School.
We now have ten members. Subsequent projects
have been the working of over sixty kneelers for St Mary
Magdalene Church, collection bags for Bolney Chapel and a Parish
Alphabet using various techniques.
Our
latest project is the Bolney Parish Alphabet.

A reproduction of the Parish Alphabet as a Tea Towel is
available from Margaret Burgess at 29 The Street, Bolney - Price
£4.50.
We welcome new members who enjoy this hobby
