Bolney Cricket Club

Bolney cricket club was founded in 1840. In 2003 a new pavilion was designed and built by players. This is a unique building which reflects it's beautiful surrounding, lying adjacent to the sandstone Victorian school and St. Mary Magdalene Church. 

Bolney Rovers Football Club

Football ~ Mid Sussex football league, playing on Saturday afternoon's ~ September - end of April :

Also : Veteran's team (over 36's) ~ Sundays once a month

Bolney Stoolball Club

Small friendly ladies Stoolball Club. Matches are played Tuesday & Thursday evenings  6.30pm   to  9pm

Yoga Classes

Gentle stretching to exercise the body and mind, release tension, increase flexibility and well being.

 

Arts and Drama

Art Group

Informal, social, art group; meets on a monthly basis. No previous experience requires, just enthusiasm. The group works in a variety of media, according to preferences e.g. watercolours, charcoal, pen & ink etc. Members encourage and assist each other in trying new techniques. New members always welcome - no need to commit to attending every meeting.  

Bolney Players

A local dramatic group, with one or two shows per year,  plus social events.

Anne Giliberti School of Dance

Registered teacher of the Royal Academy of Dance. Classes in Classical Ballet, Modern Theatre Dance and Tap.   

Social / Interest Groups

Bolney Horticultural Society

Horticultural Society - an interest in flowers ~ vegetables and gardening in general. There is no need to be an expert gardener, the Society is very friendly and all events are informal. Even if you do not wish to participate in shows, we would still welcome new members.

Bolney Local History Society

Bolney Local History Society exists to tell the story of Bolney and it's people. We also consider the rest of Sussex as our territory, especially when it's history relates to that of Bolney. Main events are talks and outings to local places of historical interest.

Embroidery

The Group was formed in November 1998 by seven enthusiastic amateur needlewomen to work six embroideries depicting Bolney Village to commemorate the Millennium.

Rendez-vous  

Local Christian group providing village seniors with the opportunity to meet for tea and regular fellowship

Royal British Legion

St. Mary Magdalene Handbell Ringers

A group of music lovers who ring for fun and occasionally play to the public, if they will have us.

St. Mary Magdalene Church Tower Bell Ringers

Our Parish Church has the oldest recorded ring of eight bells in Sussex  ( five weeks older than Chichester cathedral bells. 

Village Society

Womens Institute

The W I is one of the largest Women's Voluntary Organisations in Europe. Besides the friendship, it offers everything from campaigning to cookery and crafts.
