The Parish Assembly organised by the Parish Council on Sunday April 22 at the Rawson Hall was a great success and attended by more than 110 people. It provided an opportunity for residents to find out about the housing developments on the London Road, and feedback from the developers was very positive, with several people registering interests in the affordable housing.
Our County Councillor, Joy Dennis, and District Councillor, Judy Llewellyn-Burke, also joined us for the event, and were able to answer questions from residents about their different concerns.
We also asked residents where they would like the British Legion Silent Soldier to stand, and there was an overwhelming vote in favour of him being near the War Memorial at the top of The Street.
Local associations and Bolney Primary School were well represented and displayed their activities and achievements.
All in all, the Assembly provided an excellent opportunity for residents to meet and share their experiences in the village.
The Parish Council would like to thank everyone who took part for their time and effort
